Batting Cage

Hey there!

My name is Ehrich and I've been in Baseball for as long as I can remember.  I've had the opportunity to compete with teammates and play against some of the best talent around, not to mention I've had the opportunity to play for some of the best minds in the game today and from the past.  I've done it all, from playing, to coaching, to giving lessons and working camps..... oh, and I've also had the opportunity to umpire youth Baseball/Softball as well.

For the past 12-13 years, I've been very fortunate to learn from some of the best players and coaches while being able to put it to the test as player and now coach/instructor!  Besides being an instructor for the past 6 years, I've been fortunate to work with some amazing athletes.  All of whom have made their high school teams and others have gone on to play college ball.  In high school and through college, coaching youth ball during the summers was always a fun time!  It helped me with developing my mental IQ for this game that can sometimes be neglected.

Currently... I'm an assistant Baseball coach at Westminster College, which is an NCAA Division 3 program in Missouri!  I work with hitters and outfielders within the program.  This past Spring of 2026, our program went to the conference title game for the first time in the past 10 years, while our offense was shattering records and ranking nationally in many categories such as doubles and stolen bases.  In the SLIAC conference tournament, our offense broke the conference record of number of runs scored in a single game (26) and the total number of runs scored in the conference tournament (58).  During this season, 3 hitters were selected to All-Conference with one of them being an outfielder!

I've been blessed to coach high school Baseball over the last 12 years, with 7 of those being as a head coach.  For a couple years, I was also able to coach high school Softball, which was a great experience. During my time coaching high school Baseball/Softball, I've been fortunate to:

  • Win 3 district titles as a head Baseball coach, and 2 district titles as an asst Softball coach

  • Win a state championship as one of the youngest head Baseball coaches in Missouri, as well as a state championship as an asst Softball coach

  • 3 top 10 finishes for my programs in state

  • 2x conference coach of the year awards

  • Missouri State Coach of the Year

  • Boone County Coach of the Year

  • Coaching numerous college athletes from JUCO to Division 1

  • Honored to coach a top 10 round MLB draft pick

On top of this, I was blessed to coach as an assistant for the Jefferson City Renegades which was a collegiate summer team.  During that time, the program was fortunate to capture its 1st ever MINK League championship!!

Being blessed with lots of experience during my time, I want to bring my experience and help younger talent develop into the best ballplayers they are capable of!  I've even developed a section all for coaches and helping them develop in order to create better experiences for their own athletes!  This comes from successes and failures I've endured as a coach.
